In a 2022 Instagram post, Isabelle candidly shared her struggles with the disease, revealing how it had progressed to the point where she needed to use a wheelchair at times. Despite the challenges, she reflected on the life-changing perspective she had gained: “If I were to live my life to the fullest, I need to use a wheelchair at times,” she wrote. “This has really changed my perspective on life, and if I’ve learned anything from this, it’s to appreciate the little things that are easily taken for granted.”
Tate also urged others to be more empathetic and understanding, reminding her followers, “You really never know what someone else is going through, so please always be kind and compassionate.”
Isabelle’s family remembered her for her passion for animals, her love for volunteering, and her vibrant spirit. “Isabelle was full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others,” they shared in her obituary.
